As a clinical technician with a young child, it is pretty difficult to make ends meet in Northern VA even though my starting wage is $7 over minimum wage. I feel that with all that we are trained to do through the hospital (phlebotomy, IV, Catheter and foley care, and many many other things)the pay should be increased a little more.
