Pros
The on-boarding training for RNs is very thorough. It's like going back to school, there are online and live classes, sim labs and other resources available. If you've been away from acute care and afraid to come back because you're not too confident anymore, INOVA is the best place to start. They treat you like family. Everybody is concerned about you being comfortable and confident with your new job and that you know what to do to safely care for your patients! The managers and educators are available to answer whatever questions you may have! I'm confident to say, I made the right choice!
Cons
Parking. It's so hard to find parking in the employee garage. And the IFMC is HUGE so you can get lost around it, but just ask and every person is always willing to point you to the right direction.
