minimal exposure to leading edge thinking and practice (which will not position people for future job prospects), no innovation and many factors working against it, little opportunity for impact (as slow, dysfunctional and incompetent decision making is a barrier), no meaningfulness (the only criterion seems to be "how much money can we make"), lackluster benefits, and an HR function that can be described as nothing more than an embarrassment

inflexible work schedule Unable to take more than 2 weeks leave in a pay period year round. Can only take 2 weeks leave in summer, no exceptions. Yearly must work 4 major holidays (Thanksgiving & New Years, plus the day before /after the holiday or the eve of the holiday). Unable to take leave from Thanksgiving thru Christmas. Managers care about the bottom line (money), not the employees. No monetary recognition (bonuses) for accomplishments.
