      Large system, multiple resources within system.

      Cons

      Private physician providers working for system with differing priorities: office vs. inpatient rounding for pt. flow inhouse. Must be politically savvy to advance.

      Managers can make mistake after mistake

      Pros

      A paycheck simply ... that is it . Did not need their benefits . Many locations may offer short commute.

      Cons

      It seems that managers receive total forgiveness and can totally mess up on our schefuling as much or as often as they want. No responsibility, no repercussions. Simply people must work double shifts and have their worker days off destroyed whenever managers can not properly do a schedule plan . When someone is given pto, the manager should immediately cover that hole in schedule and NOT procrastinate until last minute.
