      -supportive co-workers -great training as a new grad RN -clinical advancement ladder -opportunities to join committees of interest -interesting surgical cases

      Cons

      -staffing ratio needs improvement: 15 patients to 1 tech and up to 6 patients to one nurse is too heavy to provide quality patient care

      Pros

      Direct Manager and Co-Workers were great people and I enjoyed working with them very much. We were close like a family. The new CIO is undesirable, but the directors beneath her seem to be good people and are trying. The best thing about Inova is the people you work with in the trenches, not the corporate leadership as they are out of touch and focused on their own agenda.

      Cons

      New IT CIO is undesirable with how people were treated and fired without reason. Smart, hard working and good people were let go in masses for unknown reasons while the opposite were kept. Some of the worst people I have ever worked with in my life are still there, while some of the better are not. The corporate aspects of the company is completely out of touch with those in the trenches.

      Hiring practices are unfair and biased. No scope for advancement based on skills and knowledge.
