The company frequently says that pay is "competative" however, many representatives struggle to afford to live on the pay given. Many have to take second jobs to afford basic necessities such as food. Currently there is new leadership. This has led to many unnecessary meetings. Meanwhile, this drives down patient satisfaction because we are too busy attending these unnecessary meetings that could have likely been an email. The workload continues to increase without any compensation for all of the efforts. Yes, there is the yearly reviews, but are we really being compensated for all of the extra we do throughout the year? All new training staff is being brought on, which now means having to, yet again, explain what it is we do. Just like the movie Office Space. You would think that being an organization of this size, there would be some form of documentation as to who does what, but apparently not. It must be explained yet again because the company is taking new directions with all new people. Perhaps if people were paid a livable wage, maybe talent could be retained. It's a baffling game with these folks at Inova. The cost of the benefits continues to increase year by year. The premium/high tier insurance plan is not affordable if you are enrolling your spouse and / or dependents. You are then stuck to choose the high out of pocket insurance plan which puts you in high medical debt as per the insurance plan. So much for the work life balance that is promoted, you'll have to have a second job to afford to live; especially if you go into medical debt due to the lacking health insurance benefits that can be afforded. This place is a joke.
