Pay rate is starting to come up to average

Cons

Hiring all brand new nurses to save money. Dangerous practice in their ERs. Does not value or care about staff. Managers care only about numbers not staff or patients. Their bonuses are based on production which means the more they can understaff the more money they make. Turn over is high

Work life balance. There is lot of free time on your hand. Lot of people have 2nd jobs while working in this team. Some of them don't even show up and get paid lol so definetly that good.

Cons

24/7 firedrills because acting CISO is unaware of his own teams SLA and/or don't know how to be a leader. No growth opportunity because favoritism. Leadership will ignore racism. Unqualified acting CISO so will be hard to make him understand things. Payrate is not per market standard, plus salary increment is very mediocre unless the acting CISO likes you.
