Pros

Ability to work at home. You do not have anoyone watching over you nor do you have to worry about going to a physical place for a meeting. Everything is done via a phone on conference call.

Cons

No Benefits!!! Also there is NO promise of work. After either the contracts are over or they run out you can be out of work for a minimum of a week and some instances three weeks. If your contract work is finished they will move you to another position such as coding and make you go through the training process again and you must pass with a minimum of 94% if not, then you are terminated. You must maintain a accuracy rate of 95% or you will also be terminated Also, was informed by a precepter that the quick reference manual HAS the wrong codes so therefore the chances of you being terminated is high.

Pros

No direct supervision, company is based in Maryland, so there is is no physical office to report to. Get to meet different people daily and work autonomously.

Cons

The hours are not guaranteed. When they hire you they mention it but don't dwell on it. So initially you get the hours you want, then you could go from working 40 hours to 6 a week. This is not a job you take if you are the only one with an income in your house. They say they are project based so that's why they don't seem to care that that hire lots of people at one time then leave them with no income. Most people would not take a job if they thought they would not get enough hours.

Pros

Great weekly webinar trainings, when they didn't have their own connection problems

Cons

Unrealistic expectations for employees, poor training, no positive feedback hardly ever, pay fair and no benefits for those of us who work 40 hours plus a week.
