The best thing I can say about Inovalon is the flexibility, benefits are okay, and the majority of people I work with are nice.

Cons

Very top heavy organization with a lot of partners, Vice Presidents, Executive Vice Presidents etc. Management is cheap when it comes to the “worker bees” and acknowledging their efforts monetarily at least. They didn’t even pay out bonuses this year except for the executive team. And for a “technology” company they seem to have a lot issues with uptime and availability. And this year they had a lot of issues that affected their clients. The biggest complaint is that they are a publicly traded company but still run as if they are a small business. And their is little to no diversity in management even though they seem to always promote their diverse environment. Also lots of layers of hierarchy and red tape. Why should a title change or salary increase have to go through a committee?

At times can work remotely, but management uses the opportunity to contact you randomly 24hrs!!

Cons

Employees are expected to be available when needed with no heads up. Frequent application/system deployments which result in outages and mandatory overtime. If you are a salary employee, no compensation for working 14 hr days.
