      Good Work but bad company culture

      Pros

      - work is challeging - new things and processes are being set up so its a good learning experience for a newbie.

      Cons

      - no work life balance at all - people are expected to slog for 9-10 hours each and every day. - no value for people no matter how good they are. - no rationale for promotion. - bad salary - raises, bonus etc. - company culture is bad where in there is lot of nepotism, politics. - lots of re-orgs and unstable environment wherein the reporting structure changes frequently. - No Processes or standards followed. Due to all these reasons a very very high attrition rate - people leave every week.

      Pros

      I love that I am able to work a schedule that allows me to go to school and spend time with my family. The supervisors that I have are wonderful and even though I am not in the office I feel as though we have worked side by side in the office for years. Everyone that I have talked to from supervisors to IT dept have been great to work with over the phone.The compensation is good and the benefits are great. I would and have recommended Inovalon to my friends.

      Cons

      The computer software is a bit slow and can lock up at times, an upgrade would be a great benefit to the company. Work would get done much more smoothly.

      Pros

      Flexibility, great work-life balance. That is mainly because there is not enough scheduled time. The pay rate is not bad either, considering the job.

      Cons

      Not enough paid hours, though you need to commit at least 24 hours a week. Some weeks there are no scheduled hours, while some other weeks you can end up working 4 hours. The maximum I worked was 18 hours a week, only once.
