      Great Place to Work, Struggling to Remain Relevant

      Pros

      Probably the most friendly company I have ever worked for. My team there was the best. That was the main reason I stayed for nearly 6 years.

      Cons

      My recent "Reduction in Force" layoff seemed impulsive. The company has had lots of problems over the last 3 years. I don't think management can focus on a firm direction.

      The company is in a growth spurt and buying new companies. Top of the line products are hitting big time with top wireless companies. Working environment is great with smart and fun people!

      Cons

      No matching 401K and permanent employee incentive bonus plan.

      Big company, burning cash

      Pros

      The technology I used day-to-day was quite fun, and, due to incompetent oversight, unregulated. I got to do a lot of fun things that I just thought up since nobody really cared. Fairly well-funded (for now), so the office environment was pretty nice. It's like they were doing their best to make it seem fun, and I didn't hate the effort.

      Cons

      Management was clueless beyond compare. CEO was vain, idiotic and so incredibly detached. Seriously, this guy might be smart, but it was never demonstrated in any of the (very limited) interactions he had with the company.
