-easier work compared to other companies. -good starting point in industry. -some flexibility in scheduling and time off. -work outdoors. -independence. -residential only. -commissions.

Cons

-low pay compared to other companies. -declining benefits and job perks. -increasing hours and duties. -poor equipment. -work in extreme cold/heat. -increasing corporatization.

Pros

Snacks were generally well-supplied. Technically allowed to spend a decent amount of time not working.

Cons

Forced to stop people from cancelling poor service. Many customers tricked by salesmen into buying pest control with monthly charges, with no way out of contract except a fee larger than staying in it. Calls are monitored, with stern talking-to's if you aren't scummy enough. The boss takes all of the money, and likes gloating about how much he's screwing over his workers behind their backs.
