crazy sales staff turnover

Pros

good benefits. decent expense card. fair base salary.

Cons

there are probably 500 BPAs (salesmen/women) in the company, and approximately 40 to 50 do really well - have been there forever. the new folks are used for getting appointments (nearly impossible), that they funnel to senior sales staff. the Texas thing is also over-the-top. it's all smoke & mirrors

Best Place to Work

Pros

A large company with small company feel; you are not treated like a number. Great culture and benefits. Excellent training and development program. Competitive base and unlimited potential for commission. Best service team in the industry, makes selling the bundled solutions a joy. Ability to build relationships with prospects, partners, and clients. Innovative leadership team that actually cares about their people.

Cons

Metrics for activity are intense but achievable. Could use a better sales support software to track activity.

Pros

Benefits, food, laptops, friendly employees

Cons

The business unit and product managers are looking less and less friendly nowadays to developers. There is a lot more micromanaging going on compared to a few years ago while product roadmaps are often incomplete or ill-thought-out. Last I’ve heard, they are also thinking of dropping the work from home option. The meetings are also much longer than they should be.
