Pros

Benefits. People. PTO. offices. Support.

Cons

No leadership. Time warp - it's a trip back to 1980's. Not open to new ideas. Very conservative culture. Looks good initially, creepy after you've been there a few months. Try to fool clients with pricing model and can't deliver services as promised despite being most expensive PEO.

Pros

Decent compensation to start but unless you hit crazy sales numbers to move into mid market, you will never get a raise. Benefits were relative because other PEO’s offer much better benefits packages to their employees. insperity’s benefits seems good, but after some research you realize the benefits are not the greatest comparably.

Cons

POLITIC CITY Micro management 100% ZERO DIVERSITY EQUITY OR INCLUSION - despite all of their marketing campaigns exhibiting a diverse workforce! When I would attend the organization’s annual conference, the number of employees who were not Caucasian was extremely low compared to the number who were Caucasian. Furthermore, management and C-level executives are mostly Caucasian. Therefore, if you are not Caucasian it is more difficult if not impossible to move up in the ranks. Also anyone with disabilities is targeted as well. From my experience this is 100% true. There are MAJOR PROBLEMS AND INCONSISTENCIES with their internal HR. My experience with their internal HR was marked by me speaking up about a problem or am issue and then swiftly becoming the target of the company who went out of their way to find a way for me to be fired! Understand that Insperity’s internal HR department is solely there to protect the company’s interests and will NEVER side with the employee in any circumstance. You are better off going to the EEOC, who have received thousands of complaints about this company. Insperity management has stated, “We are a conservative company” - politically that statement is 100% accurate! If you are a BPA, have fun doing all the hard work only for their service department to mess your entire deal up into flames. So many of the deals were ruined by uneducated, inept, and lazy service teams.

Pros

Trainers and trainings were great!

Cons

If you are not part of the click you will never succeed. Favoritism is very high. Too many BPA's in an office and territories are not protected. CEO wrote a book about taking care of your people, but management at local levels don't live by this philosphy. PTO had to be used in 4 hour increments. You couldn't just go to the doctor, get a haircut, run an errand for an hour or 2. You had to take a half day of PTO. You are expected to use your own network, friends and family only to help a senior BPA get paid. Turnover is extremely high 75-80% and you will be forced out before you have even completed training. Your leads and contacts will then go to their "favorite" senior BPA's. The sales cycle is extremely long and you don't get paid until after full implementation which could be another 3-9 months. They say that it takes about 2 years to become comfortable in a role, but you are on a short leash. Turnover is extremely high and you will be forced out before you have even completed training. Your leads and contacts will then go to their "favorite" senior BPA's. They will also stick you with a non-compete clause upon them forcing you out.
