Pros

-work life balance, amount of PTO -friendly employees -concern for the customers' well-being -training program for new hires is well-developed -process oriented for those who like processes -strong CRM system when properly used

Cons

-insular thinking at all levels of management -no opportunity for innovation -salary half that of industry average in most markets -HR minimally involved in daily happenings, strange for an HR company -not a good place to "come from" when entering the job market. No one knows who you are -not a sustainable business model for the future, upper management fighting healthcare reform as selling health benefits is the only real value proposition for their customers. Few opportunities for autonomous decision-making which means the non-thinkers love it and the thinking employees move to other companies.

Pros

Great work life balance. It's even better if you are away from the Texas market. If you can get in it is a great place to learn the PEO sale. They have a good starting base and good benefits. You start at 152 hours of PTO a year and 8 holidays.

Cons

The company is run by the District Managers. After that the leadership drop off is rather large. This company used to have some very good leaders, but they have lost them and the only ones left are yes men for the 4 amigos. They are the most expensive PEO in the market and in this economy there are other PEO's out there. They have started to ala cart the service model and charge for recruiting, performance management, on site training, and other things that used to be included. They didn't change the price point. Expensive.

Pros

Lots of room for advancement and opportunity, work life balance, very client focused. Can get lots of experience in a very short time.

Cons

Pay is terrible...therefore, quality of some of the staff speaks to the salary they are making. Expect only a 2-4% increase every year. Nepotism is high and a downfall with the company. Company should be a lot further in growth, but lots of internal politics stalls the growth and ultimately hurts the clients at times. Company has no debt, but super, super cheap.
