Toxic & Immature Leadership

Pros

Difficult to think of any pros.

Cons

There is something very toxic & hostile about working at Inspira. Specifically due to how a couple members of senior leadership operate. They scream, belittle and blame others with no regard for their own actions (or inactions & inexperience), especially if you challenge them or maintain some healthy boundaries. Inspira will boast about their wild growth & success due to constant M&A activity and their desire to streamline & operate like a bigger company but it's mostly just talk. Lizzo said it best "why men great 'til they gotta be great?" Middle management and below are understandably afraid to make decisions that may be best for the company based on their broader experiences for a minor mistake or disagreement will at worst, risk termination and at best, risk humiliation in front of peers. This style of leadership is modeled & condoned throughout the organization and I wish I could share more without losing my anonymity. If you've read this far and still decide to join Inspira, be prepared to also take a pay cut and pay a lot more for health insurance.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on what we can do better as a leadership team! As you know, we have had substantial growth this past year doubling the size of our company. Consistency in messaging, leadership, and what we practice is critical to keeping our people in the loop and updated on what we are doing, and how we are recognizing great work along the way.
