Pros

Remote work (which is the norm now days) The direct managers are cool and realize that upper management is trash.

Cons

Everything is thankless, you can go above and beyond , help the company during a time of a reputation crisis and get nothing in return. upper management decided to do a full change of the software we use right at the beginning of our busy season. Fully botched a merger of companies (nuview & quest +inspra) right at the start of our busy season and we’re fully understaffed. They Haven’t adjusted to inflation rates when it comes to your merit raises. So even if you exceed all of the expectations , your time is worth less than a McDonald’s hash brown. When you DO go above and beyond and they decide to reward you , they give you $1.00 in”worktango points” like you’re 4 years old. The people who run this place are sick in the head. Also Karenn Defalco doesn’t care if you have enough money to feed your family while you dedicate 40+ hours a week to this company and she sits on here like she’s a good person. Evil , evil , evil place to work. Go work at Costco they pay you more and treat you better.

Pros

Great co-workers and decent benefits

Cons

High turnover because of understaffing and poor management. People are treated like machines and are overworked. There is no work-life balance. Taking a sick day when ill is frowned upon. Agents deal with difficult calls because of the complexity of the assets the clients hold and they are also responsible for many others tasks, forced to work overtime to keep up. The manager is as cold, detached and uncaring as they can come. She never took the time to get to know anything about the people working in the client service department, had no interest to hear our concerns or even spend any time in the department. Employees feel unsupported and invisible.

Pros

Good friendships and team collaberation

Cons

Upper management has no clue what employees need to do their jobs. Fires long-term employees based on their advanced salaries of many years of faithful work and ethic due to not wanting to pay higher wages for jobs they can get for minimum wage.
