Pros

Benefits and work life balance as stated in other reviews. Nice people. Excellent place to be if you are interested in econ or military history. Also, if you are interested in applications of science and technology to military, but not necessarily interesting in building these things yourself. They will sponsor your clearance if you dont have one.

Cons

Behind the curve technologically. Not the best place to work if you are software engineer or data scientist. Or if you want to do any type of hands on engineering for that matter - this is not what IDA does. Bad pay if you don't have PhD.
