Pros

1. Great way to expose yourself to alot of hard interesting problems. 2. Great retirement benefits 3. Academic atmosphere

Cons

IDA has shifted to the consulting model minus the salary increase. A few divisions now require their employees to do business development with the Government in order to get pay raises or promoted. Even Research Assistants are being tasked to do business development.

Pros

Great management. The Vice President is very employee focused and has brought the company together through monthly employee activities. Great environment to work in. No one competing against each other. Everyone works together and treat each other as family. Flexible hours which is helpful if you have a family. Great benefits and employee retirement matching.

Cons

Compensation is less than what true marketplace value.
