Business Outlook
Pros
-Everyone I have worked with here is incredibly competent -The managers I have worked with have made my career development a focus -The tech is constantly evolving and innovation is a core value - there are hackweeks, managers/PMs are extremely receptive to feature or technical improvements, etc.
Cons
-Company being worldwide means teams have a spread of time zones - up to a 5 hour spread on a team, possibly more if you need certain teams. -Devs do have to go on call -Recent layoff + churn over ~3 years has caused some noticeable knowledge loss throughout the company. Also, the layoff wasn't really handled as well as it should have been.
