Pros

To be completely honest, this job is not for everyone. It takes hard work and dedication. An understanding of sales is a must. If you aren't prepared to get kicked in the teeth, like every sales job out there, don't apply. However, if you want a $40K base salary plus bonuses this is the place for you. Oh, and, no chargebacks, that's right NO CHARGEBACKS!!! No company is perfect but if you work hard at ISI you will have a pretty great life. I have cashed bonus checks in excess of $5K almost every month on the floor and I am not a superstar by any means. I work hard and I grind everyday. The training I received was second to none. The management staff is excellent, helpful and supportive. I have health, dental, and vision insurance which the company pays 75% I am supported by my manager and assistant manager as well. This place is home, great culture, great friends, great place to grow personally and professionally.

Cons

Dealing with customers can be difficult. Crabby, cantankerous, and rude is a daily experience on the phones. But, like I learned in training, you are going to get opportunities to sell every day and you will sell every day. The other con is it is work from home, so you have to get out of the house from time to time.

Pros

Great pay for capable agents. "Juice" you'll hear a lot. "Join. Us. In. Creating. Excitement." Daily company (and/or) Sales Team Zoom meetings to start the day 3-4+ days a week to keep people motivated and informed on best practice and to share work experience. Fast growing company. Good people at ground level and management. (I never met the higher ups). Use Slack to post sales and for technical assistance. Personal work email through Gmail.

Cons

Changes are made that affect access to client base without consulting agents. Such as wether or not you can see your notes while on the call with the ones the system automatedly calls at appointment times set. You can no longer see details regarding client needs or the necessary Policy ID number to access completed applications after having spent potentially over an hour building rapport with them. Then suddenly you're on the phone with them with nothing in front of you and no access to update you as to your previously determined clients needs. Unprofessional decision made by management because some agents were seeing a client failed to be approved and weren't even trying to help said client. I never did. But those agents apparently ruined it for those of us willing to give our all to every client. I left the company immediately.
