Pros

Our feedback is heard. Structure and expectation is outlined to perfection. I feel appreciated

Cons

Pay is low. Couldn't possible provide, a home in a nice neighborhood with decent schools with my pay. Requires a second income, be it a spouse or second job.

Pros

They had a very open remote work policy for those who were out of the state/area. They had decent benefits and the pay was definitely not sub-standard. Genuinely nice people to work with.

Cons

As far as IT goes, they are ham-handed at best. They do not know how to balance security and flexibility for their developers and it is ruining the developer experience. Most people in IT don't even know how their systems work or are supposed to work and the BA's do not offer much help in that department, either. The CEO is still very heavily involved in major decisions regarding project management when he should leave those decisions to PMs or middle-management delegates instead of not trusting them. It causes major stress in the development teams.
