Pros

Flexible working hours, free pop corn. Routine work and nothing exciting.

Cons

In the last quarter of this year, the earlier CEO retired and bought in a new CEO on board. This was a warning written on wall. Still outsourcing is big and people from India have taken over many of the IT Positions specially from L&T Info tech. There by reduction of employment for US Citizen in a specially conservative employment in CT.

Pros

Very laid back atmosphere with free drinks, popcorn, and casual dress. My co-workers were always very helpful, willing to answer my questions and help me get my work done. I was easily able to get along with people on my team due to similar interests.

Cons

I was brought on board to help with a specific project, but I was full-time and it was meant to be a permanent position. However, about half-way into my time there, the old CEO retired and a new CEO was brought on board. I should have considered this a warning. I was never given any formal training. I was told I would have a mentor, but the mentor assigned to me almost never knew about the areas I was assigned to work in, and I was given assignments almost immediately, so I didn't even have time to read any documentation, leading to frequent questions to my co-workers to figure out what I was supposed to be doing. Their tech stack is outdated and hideous, and most software engineers there didn't seem to know much beyond the proprietary drag-and-drop interface that they use.
