Pros
Flexible with PTO, work in office/from home schedule. Good work/life balance. Most are willing to help from high level to entry level and across departments as best as one would expect. Great training resources to further education. Very invested in working with existing employees to promote from within rather than looking externally unless forced to do so. No micromanaging. Treated as an adult to get the work done and show up when expected.
Cons
Pay is lacking compared to others. While they focus on the area, remote work with a similar size or larger company. can help move up down the career path quicker while also increasing pay. Seems there has been a turnaround with mid level developers due to that and some other things possible. Hard to progress in company. Time to garner the experience will always be a factor but when being vocal about trying to expedite that - it seems to fall on deaf ears.
