zero growth opportunities since recent department restructuring

Fair pay, good benefits. For now great work-life balance, hope does not change.
Cons
Not only the new department structure makes no sense, it also completely eliminated any growth opportunities for the employees. We have many high performers within the team, yet no recognition or promotion happens from within. Company claims that they promote internal growth and highly encourage taking your career to the next step, yet its very far from the reality, at least in my department. Recent changes in management placed highly skilled and experienced personnel under underqualified management hired externally, which is causing a lot of frustration and demotivation in the team, as well as disruption in achieving set goals. The current structure creates silos and inefficient way of working.
