Understaffed teams can be a drain on other departments causing delays in work moving forward for those that rely on those teams, particularly within G&A teams like Marketing, Accounts Payable, Payroll, HRIT.
A few teams do not have the strongest leaders and they sometimes struggle to advocate effectively for their team's needs and plan for career growth.
At the moment there are too few resources to truly make progress in L&D, Recognition, and DEIB programs which needs to be a main focus of HR now the company has grown so much. Need to have dedicated team members paid for overseeing and holding the business accountable for making things happen consistently and with the wider employee voice represented.
