Pros

Steady hours. Plenty of options for overtime. Helpful and friendly D.O.O. Nice, friendly working atmosphere for most part.

Cons

Poor quality control. Production floor and ventilation shafts in Value Stream 1 are constantly dusty and messy. A small percentage of the Line Technicians and Team Leaders in production areas are very disrespectful and quite hard to interact with without dealing with confrontation or intimidation tactics.

Pros

The drive home and getting hospitalized from stress (means you have less time in work)

Cons

Where do I even begin? - Back and forth between management and associates on the floor, and its just so childish. Management should be the bigger person and put a stop to it. - Pay is sub standard at best. It's not market rate. They are lying. - Very very toxic work culture, people are very bored and very demoralized and take it out on each other instead of the management that causes the problems. Expect malicious slander, false reports, and people fighting on the factory floor. - The machinery is older than me and hasn't aged gracefully at all. Imagine being a telemarketer but your place of work is like a run down telephone booth covered in graffiti, the scent of urine, with half the buttons missing and your mic never works. That's what the machinery is like. - The canteen is overpriced and the food is just generally cancerous - Leave is impossible to get - My ears being harassed by Today FM all day they won't change it please help - It's like natural selection if you work in high volume. The weak die slowly and the strong procreate in the toilets. The toilets which, mind you, are in such a state that you'd think someone died there before your shift.
