Pros

Good to get your foot into the med industry

Cons

So many I dont even know where to start. One of the worst companies I have ever worked with. -Poor management- Nepotistic- inept- negligent- only care about there payouts and bonuses -Poor culture- international offices all hate each other, fail to do any work together, U.S treats world like a giant inconvenient colony - Poor Staff- 90% of people do absolutely no work, 10% are overworked - Poor ethics- Integra doesnt care about patients, staff or healthcare only $$$( can't say anymore for fear of legal action) -Poor career prospects- tendency is to hire outside managers and staff as Integra knows they cannot nurture there own staff to lead(chop shop) - Our office has a 25-35% turnover of staff a year Interview with Integra? Please dont waste your time and career, Integra is not a good name on your resume! Most ex-employees I know havent been able to land a better job, many are burnt out, stressed suffering anxiety

Good stepping stone

Pros

Ability to enter into most hospitals because of the GPO contracts. This will allow you to build relationships.

Cons

Historical hospitals purchases with company and GPO contracts get door open but limited negotiating and backorders prevent sales growth and retard quota attainment. Quota system is not based on field reality - it seems that management does not care about employee longevity in how quotas are established.

Good job before you land what you really want. Neuro division

Anonymous employee

Pros

Encouraged to think of your territory as your own franchise. You have to do so much yourself, without a ready support system, you actually learn alot.

Cons

Management changes priorities at least twice a year and can't seem to decide which products in the Neuro division they want to focus on. Neuro marketing is practically non-existent and is a ridiculous joke. Turnover is high. Product prices are high and you are expected to sell the value on commodity products for dural repair.
