Pros

it is a company of experienced Senior Living experts who have a passion for seniors AND associates. ISL is a company based on culture that was developed with the input of executive directors and leaders. The culture is not things that are just written , they are things that are practiced daily. There is a solid base of support partnered with a balance of autonomy at the community level. When corporate staff come to visit it is truly supportive and they even roll up sleeves and help when needed.

The residents made this job worth working.

Cons

High stress environment. Management has no trust in employees and micromanages every movement. The Executive did not value the residents opinions. The building was very ran down. Overall this job made me depressed and I noticed a difference in myself as soon as I left. No vertical growth at this job either.

Used to be a great company to work for.

Cons

Idiotic micro management by bully regional staff. No support. Money grab by not paying out PTO. Mean girl club mentality. Company culture in name only. Elitist management that is tone deaf to complaints by residents and staff. Crap building left to deteriorate. Residents and staff suffer due to short sighted solutions.
