They will not give you the time off that you are entitled to by law. I had to fight for this very hard to get Canada's statutory holidays recognized by IDT. They even told me US reps get to take New Year's Day off but Canadians don't. The training is horribly unstructured. Training sessions would be cancelled last minute and then rescheduled the next day where many new employees would have had conflicts and thereby would have to miss the training. A lot of the training material was also outdated. No social culture or fun events. When I interviewed for the role, I was told that IDT had a great culture and that they very regularly hold virtual social events such as happy hours, escape room games and other social chats. Nothing of the sort happened while I was there.
