Pros

The people you work with side by side every day are some of the nicest and most caring people Some benefits were nice

Cons

Safety. Numerous safety incidents over many months were reported to safety department and lab managers with little to no mitigations put into place until months after the fact. I was routinely working in areas with high risk of noxious fumes and exposure. Management is constantly changing their minds, it is so hard to know what the current procedure is because it changes nearly daily. New managers for labs that they have never worked in, with months of warning, decided week of transition to actually learn what happens in their new labs. They have been having non-trainers train associates because of the poor planning with the transition, and asked many people to change shifts without much of a choice. The equipment is constantly breaking and there is not enough associates who are able to fix the machines. A piece of equipment is routinely down for months on end, slowing production, but associates are expected to handle a high volume of orders and are penalized in yearly reviews for not achieving production goals. I didn't see much opprotunity for growth. Many of my coworkers applied for higher positions and were routinely passed over, and the pay increase to even go to the next tech level didn't seem enough to me.
