Pros

This is the a job that I like to come to work everyday. I enjoy the field engineering part of the job. I like getting to go to different clients and experience different things everyday. This place is like a family and they actually care about you as a person. When you do a good job you’re recognized for it which is nice. M-F schedule is awesome Plenty of fun events and breakfast on Wednesday is great!

Cons

On call rotation every five weeks or so (not really bad)

Pros

Free lunch every now and then (used as a means to keep people working at their desk through lunch though) Pretty in depth work and impromptu projects because the "projects" team (CTO 's chosen dimples) can't handle their work load.

Cons

No one cares about you - I once worked until 3am to restore a clients exchange environment back to a useful state after ransomware took down their in-house exchange server, I emailed management the next day to let them know I'd be in 30 minutes late since I was running on sub 3 hours of sleep. They called and berated me for coming in late "unapproved" Everyone will preach policy and process but none of it is documented and only exists as a way to force you to do more work/work past your shift. Policy changes DAILY based on mood. Company claims to have multiple departments to handle projects/large infrastructure projects. The same team that will tell you to kick rocks and do it yourself when you put in a request to them. No one knows who you are outside of your team. I was once screamed at for 15 minutes by the CEO because I messed up on a ticket, only to find out, he was calling for a different person with the same name. When I informed him, he just hung up. YOU WILL BE OVERWORKED, if you like to have a nice schedule and get paid for the hours you work. Not really the place for you. Management has DEMANDED many times that NO ONE LEAVE until the queues are clear. And there will be reprimands for people that head out on time. I often put in 50-60 hours a week trying to keep up my project and ticket load.

Integritek Response

These anecdotes speak volumes about the changes that needed to be made at Integritek, and it's my intention as new CEO to pay close attention and work to make it happen. Although I'm very sorry for the experiences you had, I want you to know that your feedback and honesty WILL have an impact. I just arrived at the company, but already see that we've lost some talented team members (yourself included, I'm sure) due to some severe disconnects and miscommunications. Thank you for speaking out, and if you ever want to discuss your experiences further, please feel free to reach out to me. Brett Paulson
