Pros

Intel is a great company with some of the most interesting projects on Earth. You have the opportunity to liaison with some of the brightest minds in the field. Has a lot of opportunity for self-improvement and education and is generally supportive of switching roles within the company. Puts a lot of emphasis on the health of employees and really stresses the importance of ergonomics.

Cons

On-call rotations can range from manageable to crushing. The general expectation is that you will be on-call and still perform all of your other roles to the same level. This can be difficult if you are not getting sleep from night-time pages though the entire organization is trying to improve this part of the job.
