Pros

Intellibright is focused on growth for the company and its employees. It's great to have a leadership team pushing in a positive direction and actively taking steps to help make a vision possible. The culture here values collaboration and there are subject matter experts here to do that with. There is a strong process for getting things done and knowing what to do but there is always room for new ideas. The CEO and other senior managers respect work-life balance. PTO and salaries are competitive.

Cons

Growth-focused means you will need to wear multiple hats sometimes. This can also lead to a heavy workload during periods of growth. It generally balances out but can make for the occasional long day.

Pros

- You can establish a close-knit connection with coworkers and the people are genuine - Clients are small mom-and-pop shops so the bar isn't very high - Good work-life balance - No red tape or work politics (unless you're dealing with the CEO, Ron)

Cons

- High titles are being tossed around to compensate for the low salary - It is very excessive (and inefficient to say the least) to have daily standup, end-of-day recap, and logging in time for all the items being worked on during the day. CEO ultimate solution to manage workflow is to micro-manage his employee. - CEO is a modern-day con man. There are plenty of occasions where he showed minimum standards for the business code of conduct. As mentioned above, a lot of the clients are small mom-and-shop or small-sized businesses that are exploited into paying for services they cannot get out of. - For a company that has been around for more than a decade, there is no established documentation around employee benefits (how convenient!). The policy changes are based on the CEO's twisted interpretation. If you've ever negotiated anything, have it documented because the CEO will not keep his word. This man cannot be trusted. - It's quiet ridiculous to see an old man throwing tantrum like a child when things doesn't go his way

Thank you for the post. Intellibright has always had an open door policy to discuss issues that concern our team. Please feel free to come to me, Ron R. Browning, the CEO to discuss. I’d like to start off by saying that I feel it is a little unfair to give Intellibright the worst rating possible (1 of 5) for an environment that the poster is describing as close-knit, genuine people, low bar for effort with good work-life balance and no red tape or work politics with the exception of interactions with the CEO. That being said, let’s address the post. High Titles & Low Salary: Intellibright always posts the salary or salary range when hiring. Over the last 2 years the frequency of raises averaged 9.7 months per person. Team members with 1+ years at Intellibright have an average salary increase of 19.3%. We’ve added up to 9% more with 401K contributions and Bonus giving up to 9% on top of the 19.3% average. We’ve also added PTO and Holidays and offer a total of 32 days a year. Lastly, we have a hybrid schedule where we work from home 2X per week. Promotion to Manager (2 in last 4 months) gives access to an additional 4 PTO days. We’ve worked hard to create a great working environment for our team and haven’t had any turnover in over a year. We took the team on an all expenses paid remote work trip to Croatia where we stayed at an Oceanfront Villa outside of Split. Micro-Management - We have a hybrid work schedule where our team works from home 2X per week in addition to WFH elective days they can use to extend trips. We have a morning check-in to make sure there are no blockers to each team member being productive - it takes 15-20 minutes. End of day recap is simply a post to slack. As an agency, knowing where the time is going is critical. We don’t feel this is anything close to micro-management - showing where you spend your time is standard practice in the tech industry. This was made clear during the hiring process and has not changed over time. Small Mom and Pop - We’ve been named to the Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Companies 2 of the last 3 years and for 2 consecutive years have been named one of the Financial Times 500 Fastest Growing Companies in the Americas. We pride ourselves on working with Regional and National Multi-Location companies with revenue from $50M-$500M. We have a plain language contract that is simple to understand, has multiple termination options only requiring an email, and happily work with clients to maximize their results through our services which are revenue focused. Our immediate objective is to make certain that it is clear to the client that our services have increased their revenue by more than our fees so that we are, effectively, free. We have perfect 5 star reviews on Google Business and enjoy a number of clients that have been with us over 10 years. Employee Benefit Documentation: We rolled out a number of benefits in the past year and did so too quickly as there was overlap and inconsistent communication . To alleviate this moving forward we’ve brought on an HR resource. However, we have well-established documentation through the Gusto Platform to include our Employee Handbook, Benefits Booklet, and an entire section of the App dedicated to the Active Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401K, and HSA account. We have an online request form for any types of coffee, snacks, energy drinks, or health food that you would like to have and it is delivered weekly. Our office is centrally located to the whole team and has free parking. We allow flex work hours where you can start anytime from 7am to 9am each day. Advice 100% of the positive reviews are verifiable from past or present employees or contractors. We’re not perfect but we encourage our team to voice concerns which we are happy to address. We send out monthly surveys through the Gusto platform and our latest anonymous survey related to Recognition and Performance had an 89% participation rate with 88% employee happiness and 84% score on Recognition and Performance.
