Pros

Prestige-- to have the IADB on your resume will open doors, specially in LAC. Latin environment. People are very nice and warm. Here you can make friends for life.

Cons

Headcount for staff positions is very limited, and opportunities for consultants to be hired as staff are almost nonexistent without the right connections. The consultant/staff dichotomy is harmful for the office environment-- consultants are the equivalent to second class citizens.
