Pros

This institution has nice projects where you can learn and collaborate with interesting people. Also, you could have well paid jobs.

Cons

A consultancy could be like a lottery. If you have bad luck could work with somebody that did not support your work, don't give you feed back and did not pay attention to pay you in due time.
