The IDB is a great place to work if you work with the right team and Manager. I was very lucky that my team was incredibly supportive and professional, and that my Manager always took the time to guide us, teach us, and helped us grow.

Cons

Contultant contracts can't last longer than 3 or 4 years. So if you want to stay you need to find a staff position, which is very hard.
