Pros

They are very oragnized

Cons

They have too many rules!!!! Your schedule changes every week You can't sit down at all, even on a 12 hr shift you can't use your phone on your break you can't walk don't the hall and drink water you can't talk to other officers on post you have hide your water while on post or you will get a write up the shoes they make you wear hurt sooooooo bad to the point were you need to soak your feet every night If you are late more than 4 times you are fired (even if you were in a car accident) if its raining, snowing or hailing outside they make you stand in it.

Pros

I can't even think of one Pro from this job.. decent pay I guess

Cons

Literally we get no support, no one to go to, I have worked here four years and I have gotten 0 vacation approved, my schedule constantly changes without any signature from myself or anyone telling me it changes, management never knows what's going on (no one in management communicates). Truly an unfair work environment.

Pros

Pay is the only pro and the pay is sub par for the chaos employees are subjected to.

Cons

Benefits are miserable, uniform is not functional, footwear is plastic. Recruiters push anyone into the program. Supervisors do not communicate with each other. Management is riddled with poisonous nepotism and zero ability to manage efficiently. Be prepared for austere conditions for 12 consecutive hours on your feet. Austere to mean exposure to frigid cold and blistering heat with unsuitable cold weather gear and air conditioning units that do not work in the summer. No consistency of schedule. Promises of a security clearance that you may not even get because the company sits on your paper work. They avoid paying bonuses by keeping you from getting the clearance they promise to provide. Senior supervisors and management attempt to intimidate guards who seek to change this abhorrent work climate. Training is insufficient and not related to the work place. Very limited options for upward mobility. Some coworkers are lazy, yet given privileges that they wind up abusing. Company focuses on a group punishment mentality. Never expressly defines what para-military means to the organization but boasts being para-military.
