Pros

You get to meet a lot of people from so many different countries.

Cons

I've been working in the security industry for 10+ years and this has to be the worst management team I have ever seen or experienced. For starters they lie about their pay rate. If they advertise stating pay at $23hr when you start getting paid it's actually $21 or $22 an hour. Then they give the excuse of contractual reason is why they have to give lower pay or reduce the pay of those employees making $22 down to $21 or $20 an hour. They also bully their security employees, specially those who are new to the industry or it's their first job. If any security officer talks back or tries to defend themselves they get fired or get sent home with loss of pay. The management team are the ones who most of the time start the issues with their employees. Usually for very petty things like, someones phone or watch made a sudden beep or noise during meeting or roll call. The officer is getting sent home, suspended or fired on the spot. Usually they come up with lie or an excuse to legally fire the security employee. This company doesn't care about their employees at all. They have zero idea what working as a team even is. They say they have an open policy for those individuals who would like to file a complaint against any employee or any member of the management team. It's all a lie. Any security employee files a complaint against any member of the management team they usually don't last. The company would retaliate against the security employee by sending them home, suspending them, changing their security post for a much harsher post or just forcing them out by pushing them to quit or looking for excuses to get them fired. Don't bother to call HR and complain to them about it. HR is just going to brush you off and like most times just hang up on you. Just recently I saw a fellow security employee get fired for speaking out against a supervisor (a member of the management team). Management's excuse was misconduct/workplace violence. This is a good example of what they do to anyone who decides to speak out against them. Overall Worst place to ever. They try to bait you in with $23 a hour stating pay but that it isn't so, don't fall for it people. Just to answer anyone who would ask, why am I still working for them? I'll be resigning soon.

Pros

Great hours laid back job watching security monitors at night the people that work at capital metro are very generous and helpful great environment to work at.

Cons

I think we have a hard time with teamwork at inter con security it seems like some people that they send to work at Capital Metro feel that they don't have to work or they don't want to relieve you for your restroom breaks when they're Patrol officers that's the only problem so far that I had to deal with.
