Pros

They “sponsor” a Top Secret Clearance but like with everyone will lie and say the investigation is on-going and should have a approved TS after about 8-10 months, you will likely just get a Interim TS and leave the company without an official one.

Cons

Too long to mention, seriously. Please avoid this job. Coming from a Marine vet. Seek other opportunities, I promise this is not what you think nor is it worth it. I have no ill intent but it’s just so much that is seriously wrong with this company.

Pros

Pay rate and getting your clearance is all this company is good for. Doesn’t care about its employees

Cons

Always having pay issues and filing out pay discrepancy to still never getting paid out. They don’t care about their long term employees and veterans for that matter. Seniority means nothing to them. New hires are getting the better posts on contract because they are paying them less and want to see the employees who have been there the longest leave by rotating them all over the NCR at crappy posts. No lockers so you have to take your gear into work every shift. Don’t honor the shift bidding process if you wanted to work at a specific location. Operations favors their friends when they set up that department a few years ago, putting the deserving officers to the side.

Huge disappointment

Pros

Hourly pay, lots of sites to work

Cons

The incumbent officers from the previous security company were kept on and hired with Inter-Con and have sabotaged the new contract. SOC and management favors them. The Multnomah county contract is a snake pit with everyone back-stabbing each other and causing hostile work environment. Lots of gatekeeping with need to know information that you need for your job. Managers either hide from the team or call and threaten you, never helpful. This company operating this way is a security issue for important county buildings on its own.
