No room for growth.

Pros

Working for Inter-State Studio was an excellent way to gain more experience in the field of portrait photography and helped me to hone my skills as a photographer and yearbook designer.

Cons

Pay and policies vary by territory but the pay was not worth the hours, there was no room for growth when I was there. My superiors let their personal biases get in the way of fair and ethical treatment of clients and employees.

Pros

good equipment. employees generally care about what they do and get along with each other.

Cons

upper management is too insulated from what's going on throughout the plant. middle management has many moments of severe incompetence. pay and benefits could be better.

Pros

We had flexible hours and a great work environment. Our bosses were also great to work with. There was a large rotating team of photographers so it wasn't too hard to get a day off if something came up last minute. When shooting photos, we worked in 2-person teams. We would alternate between photographer and tech (person on the computer). This was nice because it would give you a break from wrangling kids and you could sit down for a few minutes.

Cons

The job was seasonal and it although the flexible hours were nice, it would have been nice to have more hours at times. The pro is also a con I guess.
