Management is misplaced, or in better words, shouldn't be in there positions. The lack of HR influence allows managers and supervisors to run the departments off of personal feelings instead of whats best for the company. The chance for advancement is there because of the company growing, however depending on which department you began in, supervisors have been known to dismiss employees instead of encouraging advancement.
