Pros

Company does not let go of people often, so it is a very steady reliable job if you show up and do your job. For the most part, no issues with taking time off for vacation or being sick. My time there the company gave ample chances for everyone even if you make mistakes, almost to a fault.

Cons

Very little mobility. You will most likely be stuck in the same role for years and years.

It's a job! and you can get insurance.

Cons

Helpdesk is very clickish and the people that have been there the longest to the least amount of work. The "Leads" are lazy and the Manager is pretty useless. Small man complex, sad really. There is plenty for work to be done, very unorganized and hurry up and get the customer off the phone. Expect high stress from this typical call center environment. You are told to put a tech on hold so you can answer another call. Also when you do something just slightly wrong or even flat out wrong, there is an email sent to like 15 different people. The culture there is terrible everyone trying to get someone else in trouble. Even high school wasn't as bad as this place.
