Pros

Trying to be transparent. The pay for the area is pretty good and the insurance is decent.

Cons

The management sucks. There’s one supervisor that has berated his workers (I was one of the them) and had bragged at how hard he works his guys for little to no gain for production. The way the pay rates are needs a total reworking but the company won’t do it. They have written up/fired people for little things that didn’t have any affect to production.

Pros

Decent pay for the work, I’ve done much worse for a lot less. Decent benefits package Paid weekly

Cons

Management is is so completely out of touch it’s insane, mill is in a complete state of disrepair to the point we’re made to our machines manually and basically be happy about it but it’s our fault if we can’t keep up despite equipment either running poorly, or not having all tools available to properly do the job safely and efficiently. Oh that’s another thing they preach saftey 1st, second and third yet will only address saftey concerns that a deaf mute couldn’t ignore but even then……they continually ask what our opinions are on things such as morale (non existent) equipment (antiquated at best and even when they do in the extremely rare occasion replace something, the people making the decision has never ran said equipment nor know how it generally works at all, therefore 9/10 it’s essential my bought site unseen with no input from the people who actually make them their money and run their equipment)
