Pros

Interfor really values education and development, It's a really good environment, you got to create it for opportunities for yourself, very solid place to work. Management has your back. Many long term employees in the forestry industry.

Cons

If you don't request what you want and work with management, no one is going to give it to you. If you are an employee who expects to be babied, not the place for you.

Pros

Flexible hours, long-term job security, good work environment (good co-workers are key). I like to people I work with on a day-to-day basis.

Cons

Often long hours with no backup: in many areas there is one person with knowledge/experience of the subject/technology. Hard to schedule time off if you're the only person available for support.
