Benefits of a flexible schedule and the staff really go above and beyond to help everyone as much as possible.

Cons

The last minute calls for call ins. I do like to overtime though.

Pros

They are very flexible and willing to work around your kids schedules, school, etc.

Cons

The office is extremely cliquey. The scheduler has her favorite employees and will even call her favorite ones on the phone while making the schedule to give them the hours and clients they want. While the rest of the employees struggle to get 20+ hours, she gives her favorites 40+ hours. Instead of doing personal introductions with new clients, we're required to call the nurse (who may or may not answer) to find out info needed on the new client while sent in blindly. Where they pay your milage, you can get started 25 miles away from your home and you dont get paid for milage on your way to your first client or on your way home from your last client, which makes sense, but not to start or end your day so far away from home (when the "favorite employees" are never faced with that) When there's issues with employees at clients houses and it is brought to the offices attention, its blown off. They don't like to give raises or reviews. There's a 401K that they dont match or even add a penny to to help benefit you. And lastly, it is not a comfortable place to bring your issues up to. If there's a problem with a situation you feel more attacked or scolded for expressing your feelings if it is something the scheduler or nurse does not agree with. Again, VERY cliquey. Employees are not cared for like they should be.

Pros

Working with elderly in their private home. Some just need companionship, while others may need just a little more care.

Cons

I enjoy what I do, but you don't also get the hours you need .
