Pros

I have been reading through many reviews and I do realize that the reviews pertain to many employees across the US. In my opinion, reviews are two-sided and this is only one side of the spectrum relating to reviews. I have worked for Interim, Pennsylvania, for 4 positive years. A working relationship relies on two-parties who communicate effectively enhanced by active listening. My pro-opinions are exhibiting positive communications which includes the following: 1. active listening by both sides, which I have experienced. 2. understanding what has been said, which I have experienced with both office manager and supervisor. 3. feedback which interprets that communications have been understood, and I too, have experienced this, noting clarification from both sides in an adult-type behavior, which has been experienced. 4 Evaluations of what has been said and following through with the type of problem not being resolved. This too, I have experienced. The outcomes have made a positive work-related relationship where office management and supervisor/s accommodate the employees demands, which I have experienced. I read much about not receiving a pay raise. I have experienced this and have gotten a raise/raises b/c I put forth the effort to display my capabilities of "what Interim does for their clients/families." I actually presented a 16 poster board display of how I represent Interim and how Interim meets the medical standards for their patients/families. This presentation was introduced to my office management. I scheduled an appointment with Interim to do so. This technique works. I am proof of it, and it is time for another review to where my employer, Interim Healthcare, is going to "bat" for me as a registered nurse. In any relationship, it takes work, reaching a median, where both sides become a winner. I hold 40 hours, full-time. I can have fewer hours if I want them, I can change clients if I am not fully satisfied with my current situation. I tell them what I feel is needed, and they actively listen to my concerns making the statement, "what can we do for you to make things better." This company, in my area, and in my honest opinion, follows through. Remember, there are good and bad in all things and sometimes we must bend, reshape our way of thinking and make situations better. If I need time off for a particular reason, they fulfill the request, no questions asked. They accommodate my working schedule to suit my needs. Therefore, if there is a problem, I find it is at my discretion b/c I failed to mention my need.
