Forced overtime with 1/2 hr to prepare and if you can't stay your punished on your attendance record.

Pros

There's almost always overtime available, the benefits are solid, and you know what you're doing every day

Cons

The shift schedules changed rapidly. I got switched from swing shift to night shift to day shift and back to swing shift within one month, on top of unscheduled 12 hour shifts. It wasn't normally like that, but that period of continuous uncertainty was what caused me to quit.
