      Corporate masters don't handle the truth well. Monthly forecasts routinely "fudged" as managers are fearful of MVP reprisal on expected performance - so results are "faked" till actual numbers are posted. Live by the "prefer to be beaten once a month" mentality. Budgets completely disconnected from reality. If an actual budget is allowed (every 5 years or so) then a ridiculous "stretch budget" is enforced which negates the "reality budget" Few employees understand the complex IT system When implemented 10-15 years ago they were "swimming" in people with knowledge of the SAP system. That knowledge is nearly gone, as is the senior IT personnel who can fix the periodic disasters.
