      I've loved working here, but know some folks who have had a bad expierece.

      Pros

      Travel opportunities. Many locations all over the US and abroad to work at. Job Security even in a rough economy for most places. Good pay for salaried folks, not sure about hourly? Wide variety of jobs, from manufacturing to sales to sitting in a cube

      Cons

      Too many bosses, to few workers in mos cases. If you get attached to a speciic location, there is alwasy a chance it could get shutdown. Have to try and maintain some ties with the corporate office. Sometimes the stupidest people dont get fired, they just get moved around to another departments.

      Pros

      A large company with opportunities to grow if you are willing to move often. Salaries are good but you must know your value to the organization and be firm when it's time to negotiate your compensation. IP has a great attitude pertaining to training and can be very supportive when an employee's training needs are identified.

      Cons

      Large company that makes it difficult to figure out your place and the value of your potential within the organization. Like most large companies, corporate politics can play a significant role in your career. At times it seems like how you are perceived is as important as how you perform. This "perception issue" can make or break your career.
